Fashion exhibition

Transparent Magazineでもいくつかご紹介させて頂きました、ROGGYKEIの2010年Exhibitionが京都のflowing KARASUMA 2F　ギャラリースペースにて4月4日まで行われています。

今期「サイコ」をテーマに作られたコレクションはとってもかっこいいです。

言葉って不思議です。伝達の手段ですが、伝わらない事もあるし伝わりすぎる事もある。

最近気になりだしたジュエリー作家Jennie payerは作品に好きな写真を送ってそれを

ペンダントなどにはめ込んでもらうと言うものがあります。

私なら...どんな写真を使うか考えてました。多分、ドリームランド...今とっても行きたいと思ってるアイスランドの風景かも、もちろん実際に自分で言って撮って来たもの。

彼女の作品は言葉が入ってる事でも有名です。どんな言葉をペンダントトップの後ろに入れるかな...

言葉を使った作品と言えば、Jenny Holzerも大好きです。

"words" are strange things....it's for communications...but sometimes mess things up...

jennie payers works with the picture...you can send her the picture you want and she makes make a pendant with the picture...if i made one i think i use my dream land picture...

she put words on the back of pandant top.

there are some artist who use the words for their works.

Jenny Holzer is one of my favorite artist.

若くて才能のある人たちがこの世を去るのは本当に悲しく残念な事です...

本当に美しい、Alexander McQueenの2006年F/WコレクションのKate Mossのホログラム...

One of my favorite artist Nujabes passed away last month...

i really love his music.

we already lost great talent in this year...

Alexander McQueen was a great designer...

So sad young talented people passed away so early...

a model girl manami emailed me yesterday. she needs some photos for her book.

so she asked me to do a photo shoot for her! that should be fun! i love making someone's book.

i was so glad she likes my photos.

全く関係無いものを調べてて、見つけたんですが、イギリス、シェフィールド大学のサウンドハウス。

グレーのレンガの建物は、黒のラバーで囲まれてます。

なんとも色っぽいアーキテクチャーだと思いません！？

this is soundhouse at University of sheffield...

this rubber-clad venue is really nice!

it is like a bottle of eau de cologne!

FELIX GONZALEZ-TORRES

今から約13年前に初めてN.Yに行ったときにある図録を買いました。

現代アートの作家、イチハラヒロコさんに教えて頂いた、キューバ出身のアーティスト

FELIX GONZALEZ-TORRESの本です。

GONZALEZ-TORRESは1996年にエイズでこの世を去ったのですが、

部屋の隅にキャンディーを積み重ねて展覧会を見に来た人にキャンディーを持ってかえって貰うと言う代表作があります。なくなってしまう作品。なんだか凄いな〜と思って、買った本はなんと、フランス語で...大失敗。フランス語の本があるなんて考えもせずに買いました。

最近ふと、思い出す事があり、本を引っ張りだしてきて、またまたネットで調べたりして。

この本が欲しくなりました。只今悩みまくってます...

FELIX GONZALEZ-TORRES

in 1997, when the first time i have been to N.Y. i bought a book about FELIX GONZALEZ-TORRES.

a Contemporary artist Hiroko Ichihara told me about this cuban artist.

he died in 1996 due to Aids.

he created works with candies...

Viewers can take some packaged candies from a pile in the corner of an exhibition space.

the works not for last forever...i thought that is very interesting....

but the book i bought was written in French and i can not read it...

I didn't even think about there are some french books...wrong wrong...

now i found the other book about him and i am considering to get this one...

Invitation

先日、作品撮りをしました。テーマはInvitation(招待状)です。
N.Yの新しいデザイナーのお友達と連想ごっこをしてて浮かび上がったテーマです！
2,3月はアカデミー賞やグラミー賞と授賞式やファッションウィークなど華やかな催しがありますね。

華やかなだけでなく、なんとも不思議な世界です。

個人的に、私もinvitationを送りたい今日この頃...

伊参スタジオ映画祭シナリオ大賞2008大賞受賞作品

「ヤング通りの住人たち」の上映会が映画のロケ地、米原で行われます。

Transparentスタッフの一人がメイクアップで参加したご縁で、

Transparentも会場で販売して頂ける事になりました。

とてもハートウォーミングなストーリーの様です。

実はまだ私も拝見はしていないのですが、是非上映を見逃さない様にしたいと思ってます！

A film called "Young douri no Juunin tachi"

(it's only japanese title...means... the neighbores of Young street)

will be released 13th of March in Maibara where they shot this film.

transparent magazine will be sold at the cinema.

One of our staffs involved making this film as a make-up artist!

i actually didn't watch it yet but i will soon

the story seems very heart worming...

I am so look forward to watching it!

私の個人ブログでも前に一度書きましたが...

お手紙って素敵です。

最近ではメールですべて済んでしまう。一瞬で相手に送信されるので便利だし。

お手紙の時代に想いを馳せる今日この頃。

イタリアまで一週間...返事が来るのに一週間...

その頃になるとポストを除くのがなんと楽しかった事か！

あの頃はお手紙をくれる人たち文字の癖を良くわかってたんですが...最近気づいたのは去年まで大好きだった人のハンドライティングが分からない！

寂しすぎる...

さてTransparentのフリーポストカードを映画の上映会で配っていただける事になりました。

詳しい情報は後程。誰かが誰かにTransparentのポストカードを使って手紙を出してくれれば...

Letter

I love letters! it is definitely better than email!

thinking of the era which we write letters...

my letter took 1 week to arrived at Italy then he(a guy i used to be fancy...haha) wrote and sent me back a letter...i waited another a week to arrived his mail to me....

that was a long time ago...

lovely lovely! and so cute things!

that was so much fun to looked at a post.

I just realized that i don't know the hand writing of the guy who i was in love last year...

woooo that is a very sad thing!

transparent magazine's free post card will be distributed at a premiere show of an independent film.

i will write more information about it later.

if someone who got this free postcard write to someone...that would be very nice!

spring snow

先日、福井県まで行ってきました。大阪に住んでる私にはあまり雪を見る機会が無く、

これが今年初めての雪...静かでした...

梅林を歩く予定でしたが、満開のはずの梅の花が雪で全く見れず...

I went to FUKUI prefecture yesterday...

since i live in Osaka i don't have a lot of chance to see that much snow...

so this is the first time for me to see the snow in this season.

so quiet and beautiful!
